overcooked and under loved

Broccoli:   I know broccoli isn't one of those, loved by all foods. My family happens to love it, and we eat it a few times a week. I never get tired of it. I steam it until it's still under done. As it sits, it'll continue to cook in it's own heat. Maybe that's why some of you don't like it--it's often cooked to mush. Try under cooking it and see how it goes--you  never know.

There are many reasons why you should at least try and like Broccoli. Besides being a good source of calcium, potassium, folate and fiber, broccoli contains phytonutrients - a group of compounds that may help prevent chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Broccoli is also a good source of vitamins A and C - antioxidants that protect your body's cells from damage.

Change your cooking method, you might change your mind.
