I love the everydayness of this set...so pretty and cute.
Glazed in a flowing white glaze with a hint of blue, the teapot is made with 1/2 porcelain and 1/2 stoneware clay. A woven cane handle tops the whole thing off perfectly.
The teapot--just the right size for steeping one large mug of tea--and the mug are both decorated with a smiling sun stamp.
